TeleGuard Monitoring Services
TeleGuard has established
state of the art automated monitoring centers to provide video monitoring
services to clients throughout North America. Using the TeleGuard system,
24 hour per day remote security monitoring to unattended
sites is provided. In the event of a detected intrusion, TeleGuard will immediately
initiate a response according to pre-agreed upon instructions from the
client.
TeleGuard will also record video images of
intrusions that can be forwarded to building management either immediately or
the following day.
TeleGuard offers the following services:
Ø
Consultation and Design Services
The constant change in technology coupled with the ever increasing array of
video security products on the market, often lends itself to uncertainty when
looking to find the proper video security solution.
TeleGuard has relationships with many of the major manufacturers and significant
experience regarding product applications and performance. Our Consultation and
Design Services department is available to help clients find and implement the
proper solution. For a fee as low as $295.00, (which can be applied to
subsequent monitoring costs), TeleGuard will provide your site with a suggested
design, schematic and equipment quotation list.

Alarm Verification
This monthly service is offered on a standalone basis, or in concert with
Continuous Video Monitoring or Video Guard Touring, and is used to confirm an unauthorized intrusion. Once an alarm is presented
to the Monitoring Center it is acknowledged, and may be recorded. All alarms are
responded to in accordance with the client’s orders.

Continuous Video Monitoring
This is a 7 day X 24 hour service offering to clients where critical assets
require round the clock monitoring. When Monitoring Center staff observe
suspicious or unapproved activity at a client site, they respond in accordance
with the client’s orders, usually talking directly to intruders over the remote
audio system.
Ø
Video Guard Touring
This service is offered in addition to Alarm Based Monitoring to provide
clients with Video Monitoring at either scheduled or infrequent times
throughout the day where the client desires to have additional coverage (ie:
watching a loading dock from 8 am - 10 am and from 3 pm - 6 pm on Mondays and
Thursdays). Activities may be recorded and are responded to according to the
client’s orders.

Audio Deterrent
In addition to the wide variety of Video Monitoring services, TeleGuard also
offers two way audio capabilities between the remote site and the Monitoring
Center. This allows the Monitoring Center to address personnel and possible
intruders and take the appropriate action according to the client’s orders on
file.

Remote video monitoring is a very effective supplement to your existing alarm
and guard service. 2.
Theft Deterrence:
Installing remotely monitored
video cameras at all key exit locations is an excellent way to deter theft
by those who gain access to the premises. Once people know their actions
are being monitored, they will be discouraged from engaging in illegal
activities. Theft rates drop dramatically.
3. Alarm Verification:
The cost of responding to
false alarms with private guard services, or of paying the local police
fees for false alarms provides further cost justification for video verification
of alarm.
Being able to look at your premises once an alarm has been triggered and
quickly determining whether it is a false alarm will eliminate the costs
associated with unnecessary responses.
4.
Access Control
Verification:
Remote sites are vulnerable
to intrusion and will benefit from a remote video monitoring system. Only those
personnel who have appeared in front of the system
will be granted entrance. A record of all arrivals and departures with
their time statistics can also be produced.

Video Guard Tours:
The TeleGuard monitoring
service will automatically call up each of your designated locations on
a regular or irregular schedule and observe your premises. In this way,
you can tailor the frequency and duration of a guard round by one of our
monitoring center staff. Each electronic round will be logged and reported
to you on a regular basis.
